The selected players are: Elena Zreik and Lara Ruk El Bakhour from Lebanon, Yasmeen Thaher from Palestine, Salem Al-Abdallat and Mohammad Alrawashdeh from Jordan, and Mehdi Ben Youssef from Tunisia.
This camp stands as one of the most significant initiatives launched by the Arab Golf Federation, representing a strategic step toward preparing a new generation of Arab golf champions capable of competing at the highest levels of international tournaments in the years ahead.
The program featured an intensive training schedule combining technical, physical, and mental assessments, in addition to the use of advanced technologies such as TrackMan. The camp also included competitive rounds over two 18-hole tournaments to simulate official championship conditions and measure the players’ ability to perform under pressure.
The Elite Sports Scholarship Program, launched by the Arab Golf Federation, represents a comprehensive developmental project that goes beyond technical training. It also provides specialized programs in physical fitness, mental preparation, and advanced sports analysis, alongside academic support to ensure balance between sporting and educational pathways for young Arab talents.
The program is organized in collaboration with IMG Academy, one of the world’s leading institutions in the development of professional athletes, ensuring a professional training environment that meets the highest international standards.
Through this initiative, the Arab Golf Federation reaffirms that investing in youth and juniors is the cornerstone of the game’s future in the region, emphasizing that the “Elite Camp” is the true starting point for a professional pathway that opens the door for Arab players to reach the global stage. The camp also sends a clear message reflecting the Federation’s vision of building a sustainable competitive base in the Arab world, founded on early talent identification and providing young players with the tools needed to succeed in an integrated sports environment.
With the successful conclusion of this first edition of the camp, the Arab Golf Federation renews its commitment to continuing the launch of innovative initiatives that enhance the status of golf in the Arab world. The Federation further highlights the importance of joint efforts to unify and invest Arab talent in shaping a brighter sporting future.
